There a loads of possible recreation activities:
Hiking, biking, (The Mosel-Maare alley on an old railroad route, at the Mosel in all directions without any acclivity), horse riding, tennis, swimming, river trips on the Mosel, fishing, wellness, dawdling, miniature golf, golf course 25 km away, feasting, sampling wine, cinema, culture (wine festivals, street festivals, concerts, readings, Mosel Festival Weeks ("Moselfestwochen”) and much more)
Five minutes away from our house you can find the Academy of Cusanus, where events concerning lectures, Yoga, drinking coffee etc. take place regularly.
Furthermore we would like you make proposals for hiking and biking. (also with children).
Our countryside is beautfil in a unique way: vineyards, forests, romatic cities and villages and of course the Mosel.
Excursions
(with cheap prices from other providers, too)
- Idar-Oberstein—the city of gems and jewels
- Roman City of Trier—a must visit for all Mosel travellers (oldest city in Germany, cathedral, thermae, amphitheatre)
- Luxemburg—for some only worth for buying cigarettes and refueling cars, Luxemburg hasa lovely Old Town with French panache
- Paris—is possible, too! A nice day trip visiting the Seine, Montmartre and so on. Might be a little bit exertive but definitly worth visiting!
We offer courses in cooking herbs, working in the garden, guided walking-tours, samling wine or just a small-talk for a coffee.
